Journal 2010: It's More Fun in Bulan (Isang Tulang alay ko Sa inyo)
Three hours before our departure in Bulan, Sorsogon, I composed a short Tagalog poem for the family of Kuya Cris who accommodate us for four days and four nights warmheartedly! This poem is dedicated especially to Lola Eron, Tita Christy and Joie, Tita Fe, Ate Bem, Arnel and Family, and also to those people we’ve spent with our week with so much fun and pleasure!
Special thanks to Prince for some words and fine editing, and also to Kuya Ervin for reading it loudly to them!
I was really exultant, tremendously happy right after Kuya Ervin read the last word in my poem because Tita Christy’s tears rolled in her cheeks! Also Kuya Cris mother had wet eyes because of the poem! Kuya Alvin teased me: “Oh Mc! It’s your fault! It’s your fault!” because they became emotional due to my work!
Deep inside, I want to cry also because, maybe, the second time of spending my summer with them will happen after a long time. But, I will pray for that moment to happen again!
Anyways, here is the poem:
IT’S MORE FUN IN BULAN

my memory is wrong because I've written there 2009 instead of 2010! that piece of paper is the one I gave to Tita and coiled it with a red ribbon Sir prince and I saw in the plant strangled on it inside the house. :))
I’m trying to translate the whole poem into their dialect but due to my limited knowledge of the Bicol dialect, a few lines are only translated, the remaining lines are in Tagalog.
Special thanks to Ate Elaine Tiballa! She made it to translate my whole poem to Bicol dialect! Thanks Ate!!
Here it is!
